Dr. Llewellyn grew up in southern California, right in the Mojave Desert. He grew up with at least two dogs and often a rat, snake or iguana in the home. In sixth grade he decided he wanted to be a Veterinarian when his dog, Tinker, was hit by a car and was saved. After high school he went on to do his undergraduate studies at Cal Poly Pomona. During his undergraduate years he took two years to do a church service mission in the Philippines. He graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with honors including being a member of the Honors College and having received multiple scholarships.
Washington State University, is the home for his studies to obtain a DVM. While there, his favorite study topics were about exotics, behavior, dermatology and nutrition. He is excited to become the newest member of Mountain View Animal Hospital and looking forward to helping members of the community.
At home, he spends time with his wife Sara and their two dogs Charlie and Cooper. They enjoy watching movies, going on hikes, and exploring the Salt Lake valley. His parents live in Malad, Idaho, where his family goes to escape the bustle of the city.
